In the brief time I spent with Ashley, I was able to bond with her. This is because we were the most active of the original Hufflepuffs. We both agreed to watch each others backs if we were to head to Explusion together. and since our house was alway very close to being placed last, it was important to maintain that bond. It was rather easy to get her to follow whatever I told her. With such limited number of teammates at the beginning, it was necessary to click with someone. Though it was annoying sometimes to have to repeat the same instructions over again, she was someone I could trust. However, since our departure, we haven't had to time to talk again. I don't know what strategy she's been planning by herself on Gryffindor. But with Brandi being expelled, I can't help but feel she may be on the chopping block.
